
Where do film and television producers get the ideas to make their projects? Many times their projects are based on a work owned by another party. These works might be novels, theatrical plays, video games, comic books, someone’s life story or even a previously produced movie or television show. J. After the producers obtain the necessary rights to the content, they must now begin developing the project. J. This includes, but is not limited to, negotiating the agreements for the key players such as producers, directors, actors, and writers.
Generally, a film is not complete without adding an original score or music to the soundtrack. J. Lopez Law will represent the producer or production company in securing the rights to such compositions and sound recordings. J. Lopez Law will also represent the composers and owners in the licensing of such rights.
